Any news on when there will be a Blu-Ray release?

sharelooking forward to the blu-ray release. i have to say that the film formed an impression on me on what the South looks like when i saw it some time ago. Obviously, the South has many different faces in popular culture from the soap opera Dallas, to CNN from Atlanta, Georgia and "a time to kill" in mississippi, but the imagery in this film has stuck with me.
shareI finally got the blu ray from Warner Archive. The print is, as expected, beautiful to look at. I just wish there had been some new bonus material. It's the same as what was on the DVD. I'm glad I got it though...love this movie, even though it's not really faithful to the novel.
