David Caruso
I'm sure I read somewhere that this movie was supposed to be a starring vehicle for David Caruso but they decided to add more comedy and offer it Eddie Murphy instead. Can anyone back this up?
shareNot sure if that's true, but if it were, I would've liked to see that. Caruso in his pre-CSI:MIAMI and post-NYPD BLUE days was quite good, I say.
shareIf you want to see David Caruso in a nice cop role, look out for Mad Dog And Glory - he plays a great, (and although not comical, very funny) support role to Robert De Niro (who is cast against type as the little man). It's not Citizen Kane, but it's a nice little film, and ten times better than this heap of grollocks I've just sat through.
