Is it just me, or does "Metro" have the oddest looking Theatrical poster of all time? Eddie Murphy looks so freaking out-of-place with his hands up and his eyes shifted like that. Obviously trying to convince someone with a gun not to shoot him or whatever. I know it's supposed to show his character's profession in the movie, but come on!

shareTotally wrong. That poster is awsome, the one with Roper holding a gun, and there is fire behind him, that is awful, and so untrue to the movie.

I agree with OP, both the promo posters are peculiar - the one where he's holding the gun with the fire behind him, his hand looks all weird and puppety, and in the other one where he's holding his hands up, he looks oddly like Eriq La Salle! (sadly sans Soul Glo!)
It doesn't fit the genre of the movie. When I hired this movie out when released I thought it was going to be a cool action comedy. Well...it was hardly a comedy. Eddie Murphy throws a few wise cracks at us but nothing to imply that it is a comedy.
