i hate these endings
I hate films like this where at the end no one cares that eddie murphy had just blown up all the jewels he took from evidence with no repercussions and then he is just chilling on the beach with his girl

1. His partner was shot saving him. Fine it wasn't life threatening but come on there is sensitivity just going off on holiday.
2. He stole millions of pounds worth of evidence, and lost it.
His Girlfriend in the same breath
1. Was almost strangled to death a few days earlier in her own home.
2. Then kidnapped, in her own hime by a different guy, and the guy did god knows what to her in that time, but then he ties her up and she almost gets decapitated.
That would cause anyone serious post traumatic stress.
And both of them what seems like shortly after are all laughing and laughing.
