Its Joecoffee shop that comes back and rejoins the party with Susan at the end
My question is where was he all along because I thought he died after they met at the coffee shop. How did he come back? Does Death have th power to bring people back to life???!!!
This is an old thread but I like this movie and I just watched it again, so I'll give you my 2 cents.
From my understanding, Death took Joe's body for a ride in the human world and sorta gave it back (or put Joe's soul back inside) after taking Bill over to "the other side". Seemed like he realized Susan was in love with the Joe she met at the coffee shop so he decided to make this sacrifice for her (leave without her and bring Joe back to be with her).
He certainly wasn't with her all that time, which is why this movie sucks.
