I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like this movie is more or less copying the 1991 Sean Astin flick, Toy Soldiers...any thoughts on that?

I was about to post the same comment as you. This was such a clone of Toy soldiers (which is a bit of a cult classic). Can't believe this clone made it to the cinema / video.
shareWhy not? It's a great movie (one of those many undercredited films, like Toys and Young Sherlock Holmes).
