I really wish more studios would approach sequels like how Bourne and Nolan's Batman did. Keep the same formula and tone and don't pull stunts.
The daughter in this movie just threw me for a loop. She was black, supposed to be Goldblum's daughter, but nothing was explained as to how this happened. She wasn't even mixed. It was just so weird and politically correct.

Also, I feel that something about the movie implied that she WAS Malcolm and the mother's natural child.
