Did a T-Rex even care for its offstring?

We're talking about the terrifying dinosaur of all times, with the most strongest bite force. It was a damn cold-blooded killing machine.

Was a female T-rex even capable of showing some care for her offstring?

reply

In the movie they clearly do, but in reality we don't know, as most dinosaur behaviour remains a mystery.

Lions are often killing machines, but within their prides they still care for each other.

reply

How do we know?

Bones is all we will ever have.

Trex arms are too short to swaddle a baby, so it likely does not care.

reply

Bones, eggs, tracks, can all show and reveal a LOT if you know how to look. We actually know more about dinosaur behavior than you might think. Less than "Walking with Dinosaurs" would have you believe, but more than you might expect.

reply

Ummm....what?! Your question does not make any sense, is this the first time you heard about carnivorous animals?

reply

Even alligators care for their young.
