A snake!!
The one vivid memory I have of seeing this in the theater is the entire audience going, "Ohhhhhhh" at that part.
shareThat's the only memory I have too! Scared the hell out of me. I think because he died such an ugly, kind of tragic way and he was a likeable character (I think?)
