WHY did Sarah panic to hide the crackers in the tent when the T-Rex was coming when she has a LIVING human and a bloody t-shirt with her!!!??? T-Rex's aren't looking for cracker munchies when they're carnivores.............. WHY

To hide strange smells from the T-rex would be my guess. Something unfamilliar for the predator to investigate. Although, as you pointed out, the blood from the infant rex is still on her shirt and would have given her away.
