It's just so good.

Okay, I know I can get carried away with some of the things I write on the message board. Most of the time I've just watched the film I'm commenting on. Meaning, I'm still buzzing from the film. I watched this one last night. Here it goes.

This movie rocked me. I'm so impressed with the performances in this film. Without a doubt, Sam Rockwell is an awesome actor with plenty more to come. His acting was spot on. Because of his great skills I understood every decision his character made in this film. I've read some of the comments where some people questioned certain parts of the film. It's crystal clear to me. Worlds f#%king collide.

I watched 'Lost And Delirious' a couple of years ago. So, when I found out that Mischa Barton was only 15 when she acted in that film I was surprised. In my film watching experience 15 year olds don't give such great performances. She was ten in 'Lawn Dogs.' Again, she was incredible. I hope she continues to give wonderful performances in her career. She's still pretty young. As Devon, she warmed my heart. Her lines didn't seem to be spoon fed as they've been known to be for child actors.

Maybe a spoiler-

The performances by the other actors were great as well. The two stars were just so good. When Rockwell's character Trent smiles into the camera with tears in his eyes at the end of the film, it mirrored exactly how I felt when I watched this movie. It's a tear jerker. It's been hard to shake off thoughts of this movie, and I watch a lot of them. It might not be for everyone.
A quote from the film:

"The way I see it, you have people who own lawns and people who mow them. And they're never the same. " - Trent

Shake hand with you.
I've just seen this movie yesterday.
I like the ending so much, just like you said, the tears and smile of Trent really touched me.
The performance of Sam Rockwell was just as good as his other works and Mischa Barton was incredible.
