Ending ruined the whole movie

And it's a shame because up to the last 10 or 15 fifteen minutes it was at least passable as an entertaining sword and sorceries time buster. Sure it was nothing remarquable, but still worth seeing if only for the fights scenes.
But come on, killing the demon with a kiss! I mean 'What the hell'. Kull finally gets his hands on a cool looking dual Ax and what do we get from there? a very short fight and a stupid kiss. Biggest letdown I have ever seen.
To me, It's very obvious director was told to close the deal fast. At least I hope that's what happened because seriously, if that was in the original script, I don't even see why they bothered making it at all.
Only thing I can say: if that was the case, good for them it flopped. They deserved it.

The Acheron demon was supernatural in nature and so the "cool looking dual Ax" would've been useless against it. The only thing that could take down Akivasha was the Breath of Valka, which Kull derived from Zareta (who obtained it in the ice cave) and passed on to the demon in the form of a kiss. I should add that the fiery demon special effects at the end were quite effective for a low-budget S&S flick.
