Declan can't protect his women
Alright, so Valentina Koslova got shot in the liver, having no more than 20 minutes to live. The Jackal tells her to tell Mulqueen that "he can't protect his women".
Next scene, Mulqueen enters the room, kneels down near Koslova, and Koslova, after a couple of sighs, proceeds to tell Mulqueen that the Jackal told her to tell him that he can't protect his women.
This set of scenes is so unbelievably badly written it's unbelievable. I have a soft spot for The Jackal only because I saw it at the movies when it came out when I was 14, but every time I've seen it since, I throw up a little more.
Such a shame.
