Yes! You'd think he'd find a nice hole and tazer Black and drop him in the hole with a half a stick of TNT. Dead and buried like they supposedly do in the Australian Opal Fields. Shooting the car leaves the wreckage with Basketball size holes. Wouldn't that tell anyone that a cannon had been used which itself is a serious crime?
If the whole thing happens so fast they won't find the car then how did they find Black? If they found Black then the car tells them about the automatic cannon.
Willis scooped up the bloody guts of Black and moved them? I think not. So Black's body was right there in front of a station wagon with GIANT holes in it.
He should have tested the cannon just firing into the forest. People wouldn't notice holes in the bushes as easily as in the flat metal sheeting of a car.
It showed that he didn't care, that he was not afraid of being caught, and that he was one step ahead of whoever would find hthe evidence of him being there. As I was watching, I noticed just little details of things he did that an assassin would do that I wouldn't have thought of, but made obvious sense when I saw him do them.
