After his partner has been shot Jonas keeps hearing Erik's voice talk about the time when he stayed at the hotel. During one scene Jonas hears his voice discussing what happened again. This time Erik says that the man in his room said "he was eric vik" "reception made a mistake"....I'm confused..how can another man be in your room and believe he has your name??

Another man called Erik Vik came into his room. The receptionist had got their reservations mixed up, as they're both called Erik Vik. Administrative error...

Also, I still think that the plot is weak. Jonas frames the boy because the author accidently saw him shoot his partner? What's the big deal in that?
Why not just admit it? I know in the Americain version Pacino was being investigated by IA. Am I correct in saying that the only thing Jonas had done was being caught in bed with a witness?
Police in Norway aren't allowed to carry guns unless in special circumstances. Plus, he's looked upon by the small-town cops as infallible, and he becomes obsessed with maintaining that image. The lack of sleep is driving him a fair bit mental, also...
