BOOM. POLE.

how can this be? NO mention of this yet?! wow. perhaps the most obvious incidence of a boom pole/mic creeping into the frame occurs in this otherwise fine film. The scene in which Eckhart is helping the actress take off her jacket and later on confesses the scheme to her... that scene. At the very top of the frame you can see it there... as plain as day.
Sorry. just HAD to be mentioned

It depends on where you saw it. In a theater or on vhs or dvd.?

It's usually not the fault of the director, but how the movie is framed later on. This happens in movie theaters a lot, because the projectionist doesn't frame it right. Thus, more is revealed than is supposed to be. All through BELOVED, this boom mic kept appearing in half the scenes. I later found out it was the individual theater's fault for not framing it correctly.
