Sub-themes

Did anybody else just about die of laughter over the whole Cameron-Emily thing? I mean, the swizzle-stick comment to his modle girlfriend, the cheetos, the fact that Emily lost so much weight for everybody else, etc. Finally, a positive message about the fact that some people prefer women who DON'T spend their time throwing up.

There were a lot of little themes like this in the movie, like the bit where all of the old ladies finally say "F### society" and tell each other *gasp* personal secrets!

Yup, those parts were so hilarious. Also it was funny when those 4 students were in the basement discussing their teachers wedding and they were upset but when someones mom asked out the wedding was they all said fine. My friend and I laughed so hard. The epitome of teenagers.. the epitome of us... haha

I just fell off the couch at that (swizzle stick)! Hilarious! And, gorgeous though Shalom Harlow is, Jesus, she is painfully thin to the point where all you really see is bones--no breasts to speak of (though she must have gained back a little later: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2987301376/nm0363371). And I loved the whole scene where Joan is crying on the car and Cameron realizes it's his old teacher, with whom he'd spent so much time going over 'Romeo and Juliet'. It warms the heart to think that those two are together--and enjoying their damned Cheetos!
