If you thought nothing of it and it was no big deal then I would believe you weren't gay. But the fact that you came on the message board of the movie and felt you had to express that "I'M NOT GAY, I'M NOT GAY"

Sorta tells me ya are. It's that "protest too much" thing.

Guys who feel that have to tell you they aren't gay, usually are.

Uh... you never really see a guy go on a message baord and say, "I'm NOT straight... that lesbian scene in 'Wild Things' was gross, man. Eeew." Although... I'm gay and did kinda enjoy that scene in "Wild Things"... okay, time for me to call my shrink again...

This movie was so stupid to begin with. Who cares if a teacher is gay? I know gay teachers and they aren't harming anybody. This was a waste of film.

Get...over...it. If you don't like it, leave. A lot of people care if a teacher is gay, in real life, especially in small conservative towns like this. But really, that wasn't even what the movie was about.

Well, it's six years later and it still doesn't make any sense, but it's still true in much of the country.

I live near one of those conservative Midwestern towns. The population is ~10,000 and it's the largest community for about 50 miles in any direction. The teachers in this school system wouldn't dare be seen having a beer in public, much less even DREAM of coming out of the closet. Crazy, but true.

Wow, talk about being out of touch. Plenty of teachers have been fired from jobs or forced to resign all over the country (and especially during the time this film was made) when people learned of their sexual orientation.
