Better than the second!

I love the character of Kevin McCallister, and I LOVE the first film, but this one (in my opinion) is better than the second movie. It just got a little bit too goofy and over-the-top that I find it to be the most lacking of the series (4 and 5 aside, of course). Plus, the second is really just a remake of the first, set in New York, anyway. I could definitely do without the third's cartoonish sound effects and dated music, but John Hughes definitely got more creative for this one.

no. second home alone movie take formula of original great film and put it in new place. that is why it is great sequel - it is different from first.

this film is shit because it copy original poorly.
