I enjoyed the first one and i'm a fan of the gritty type of animation featured in HM and others like it. So is HM2000 worth watching just to continue the series or is it best to for-go this installment so it doens't tarnish the first?

WHile this is not as good as its predecessor, its still good and enjoyable.
People are quick to put it down and the like because they automatically compare it to the first. THanks tips, we all know it isn;t the original Heavy Metal, but its still a good film.
ANd people also complain about Julie Strain. Give me a break, she isn't bad in the slightest.
Thus, its up to you. If you are quick to dislike thisone because its different than the first, than you may not want to watch it. But if you can accept that it is different, and that it WON'T be like the first, then go ahead.
