The lizard-man thing or whatever the hell it was. What did he have to do with the film? So he was the bad guy the whole time? I mean it seemed he was just in there to have a surprise twist to things at the end for this ridiculous movie.

i haven't watched this movie in a long time so i don't remember the actual name of the race, but if you payed attention to the voice over monologue during the opening credits (which is also the voice of the rock dude) and to what billy idols character says (the thing you are asking about), it seems that he is the last of the race that had origanaly held the key to the fountain and has been pretending to be the prophet while he waited for someone to return with the key......... i think they were called Arikasions or something..............
