Commentary Question
In the commentary, Anderson says that he noticed a part in Silence of the Lambs where a light dims slightly behind Hannibal Lecter and he decided to do that (a small light dimming) in a scene with Clementine right before she asks Sydney if he wants to have sex with her. Anderson even says on the commentary that he was listening to the commentary on Lambs and saw that Jonathan Demme talked about it. I happened to listen to the commentary on Lambs a few days ago and remembered the thing that Anderson said and was looking for it, but I never heard Demme talk about it and never noticed the technique being used in the film. Does anyone who's heard the commentary on the Criterion of Lambs know what I'm talking about? I just thought it was strange that Anderson said that something is there that isn't there so I don't know if maybe I missed it...
