was the fact that Sidney, after losing on the hard eight at least twice, wins on it in the end.

It was his cash that was played at the craps table by Jimmy. He collected the winnings from Jimmy's pocket after he killed him.

A nice touch in the story.

The way Hall turns the tables on Jackson toward the end is a nerve-wracking scene.
