Bad accent

I enjoyed the film and it's themes but Tim your accent was terrible and ruined the film for me - he couldve beeen cast as a stray Englishman without ruining the plot and themes - would have worked better on many scenes - the issue was the state care and hopelessness of chasing beurocracy when you are down

I agree that Tim Roth's bad accent was very distracting in this movie. He's a good actor but he was totally outdone by Tupac Shakur on screen and I could never get past Roth's accent constantly creeping into his dialogue.

Never really bothered me. Given how over the place he is, emotionally, in both this and Dogs, I think he does a respectable job with it.

Couldn't have said it better. His character in this is a creeper, an eccentric junkie loser, and he played that up perfectly. I mean, hell, just compare this to Reservoir Dogs and Deceiver. Different variations on an 'American accent' each time, completely different characters.
