I remember hearing Estella always different shades of green and it was significant. Anyone out there better at symbolism than I am?

Green,virginity?you must be kidding..green is usually used for envy or to symbolize life-i think it symbolizes the life he wants ,upper class

the whole film is rich with green. it looks great, but i don't know why it is there other than for its visual perpus

in my opinion the colour green stands for hope... the hope that they end up together someday
