Snow Falling on Cedars was way better!

Scott Hicks Snow falling On Cedars (also starring Ethan Hawke) actually succeds where Alfonso Cuarons Great Expectations failed. Throught "Snow" not only are a lot of important, and historical things packed into it besides the romance goin on between Ishmaele and Hatsu, its done and shot in such a gut wrenching way that u can feel the intense pain and heartache that the director and writer are trying to convey, Cuarons Great Expectations starts of this way, but then later ends up to be another Cliche Hollywood romance that focuses way too much on the romance plot,and cheaply cashed in on the Forrest Gump fame. SO its not Expectations thats underrated, because Expectations could failed at being the masterpeice that it could have been, its "Snow" that is underrated. So to sum it all up, Great Expectations succeeds at having mind blowing cinematography and visuals, but fails at having a good stor line.
