Uma and Ethan were in a relationship in real life so were the sex scenes real, at least on an emotional level? It’s super rare to find films where the actors who are in a relationship in the film also are in a relationship in real life, and it comes off a genuine love in this movie.

It didn't look explicitly real, but I'm sure that their intimacy resulted in their burgeoning relationship.
