But they probably would have to choose genetic engineering the same way Vincent's father did.
If it's a question of identity...I don't know that it would necessarily come up with the engineers. They just need sperm for fertilization...I don't know why they would want to confirm that it says Jerome on it. They're not really testing IDs the way Gattaca needs to for their "superior" employees.
If not that, I'm sure adoption is still a thing. I'm sure accidental unwanted pregnancies still exist.
But at the very least, I'm sure they would accept the fact they might not be able to have kids at all. With all the lengths he's gone through, I'm sure he probably would just rule it out completely and be okay with it.
