Right-handed men don't hold it with their left

"Right-handed men don't hold it with their left. Just one of those things," says Dr Lamar to Vincent.
I don't know if this topic has already been discussed but as much as love the flick this quote has been bugging me as of late. To wit, I'm a right-handed man but I use my left hand to hold it while pulling my underwear down with my right hand. Just one of those things.

I'm right handed... and holding :)

I am right handed and I hold it with both hands. My folks got me one of that kind...

I know that most right-handed men don't part their hair on the right side, but the left side. However, in this movie, Eugene had his hair parted on the right side, so I assume that is why "Jerome" also parted his hair on the right side.

same here, right handed hold with the left, I thought that quote was BS

I think it was simply Dr Lamar's way of telling Vincent that he knew from the start that Vincent was a "borrowed ladder."

I'm sure if there was data available, the majority of right handed guys would hold it with their right hand. Its not something that requires a lot of dexterity and you can do it with either hand, but most people are likely to use their dominant hand for tasks.

This was probably the first clue that the doctor noticed that led him to realize that he was faking the identity, not his undeniable proof that he knows he is faking.

I'm right handed and I never hold it with my left hand.
