Women in US infantry - silly law

It's suprisingly backwards attitude from US lawmakers, but also people on this board that women can't serve on front lines. I know that this movie was about S.F. and not army but why not leave the door open in case a woman who can and wants to do it comes along?

As men, we sometimes have it too easy, because everything is made with men in mind. Imagine if you were a woman and you wanted to be infantry but could only push pencils? How would you feel by this idiotic limitation?

Women have served historically on front lines and with distinction. Some of them could possibly even be good enough for SF, who knows, but it's unfair to shut them out IMO.

Well, took a while, but now they are on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan..

but the worst statistic is the personal ones...30% of female soldiers have suffered rapes, and 71% have suffered sexual assaults...that is the real crime.
