Does anyone know the name of the music that is being played when Alex is going shooting with the boys?....sounds very Mexican.

If you're talking about where they first drive off in the truck, I'm pretty sure that's where Perez Prado's "Virgen de la Macarena" plays. That's a good one--and very easy to find on YouTube.
I've got just about every song used in this movie. It's almost criminal that the soundtrack has never been released! It's half the reason I can watch this movie over, and over, and OVER... such a great collection of songs (some at full length!), on top of so many deftly delivered FUNNY lines, cool audio/video transitions, the perfect dose of touching scenes, and excellent acting and chemistry from all parties. Though the title of the movie has always seemed an odd choice to me, it's not enough to explain why this little gem never got the recognition it deserved. It definitely deserved more! I laugh out loud and tear up every single time, as does anyone who has ever watched it with me.
Anyway, yeah, Perez Prado. :-)
