Joking about prison rape

Seagal's character also made jokes about the antagonist's imminent rape in prison (see Hard To Kill) as a punishment, which is kind of disgusting, even as a revenge tool. Not to mention that both the guy in Hard To Kill and this movie had enough money, power and influence to buy some protection behind the bars.

Orin's son also gave a coerced testimony against his father (after Taggert intimidated him to do so), which also makes it possible for Orin Sr. to avoid prison - yes, he shot an agent but only after Taggert harassed him and his body guards.

Taggert and the two agents visited Orin Sr in order to carry out an arrest warrant, whereupon he responded by attempting to murder Taggert, then shooting one of the agents before trying again to murder Taggert.

So even if his son's testimony was thrown out, his behavior at the casino in front of numerous witnesses would presumably be enough to put him in prison for a while (especially if the agent died.)
