I like this movie.

Is there something wrong with me?

I don't think there's something wrong with you, I enjoyed it too. It's not one of Steven Seagal's best, but I've watched it a few times. A different kind of setting than his other ones, bad guys are a bit of a pain in the a$$ after a while, but it has some enjoyable scenes too. I give it 7 out of 10.

the movie was terrible. Nothing like a guy who can turn any jacket into a komono and wear cowboy boots while still beating people up. I especially enjoyed how all of this guys movie involve people using dangerous chemicals. This one just topped them all though. Well, just trying to say, in short, yes there is something wrong with you.

Nah, I don't think so. It's not a great movie (hell, that should be obvious, it's a Seagal movie), but it has a certain charm. The environmental message is there, but doesn't bash you over the head, like "On Deadly Ground" (and his actions cause the dump site to be cleaned up, he doesn't create an even worse problem as he does in "On Deadly Ground"). There is, of course, the plot hole of why Segal is sent to the area, but whatever.

There is a nice love story, with Marg Helgneberger pretty much nailing the woman whose troubled childhood has left her a little untrusting/confused as an adult.

*spoiler* And he doesn't kill the bad guy! One of the things that tends to bother me about movies like this is how the good guy (usually a cop of some sort) always kills the bad guy, which guarantees the guy won't be acquitted, but would generally lead to more crap than it would really be worth). *end spoiler*

Basically, it's a rather simple movie, and one that leaves me with a happy feeling after watching it. Most other Seagal movies don't do that. Yeah, he "wins" in those movies, and they can be fun to watch, but afterwards, I just shut it off and go about my day. This one makes me smile afterwards.

Maybe I just secretly like small-town life and country music, I dunno.

Great Seagal film, really enjoyed it.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!
