The Guy in the Bathtub

Haven't see it mentioned so far, so let me ask:

About 16 minutes into the movie, we see Charles, played by Robert Joy, calmly and methodically eating breakfast, then carefully brushing his teeth. Then the camera pans to a little surprise - there's a dead guy in the bathtub!

So indulge me for a second and hit pause - because his face is only onscreen for a second or two. Is that who I think it is?? 10 years away from his first whiff of an Oscar. NOT in the credits... An actor who was mostly unknown in 1998 (in movies, but doing theater in L.A.). Here's a huge hint:

A guy who, between Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011), The Avengers (2012), and The Bourne Legacy (2012) is now in 3 different ongoing movie franchises?

Can somebody with the DVD (maybe Burning_Sosobra or koffeenkreame41-1) take a look and see if you agree with me?
