I cannot find any high-quality pictures, but the photograph of Elsie and the Gnome shows him with the head of a pin on his stomach, which Arthur Conan Doyle explained away as a naval!
The last portrait was thought to have been a double exposure of more fairies that were posed and pinned. However, only Frances claimed it was real. Elsie admitted that all five photos were fake, and that she did not believe in fairies after all. I think the whole affair just soured her on the business of fairies.

Both women agreed that the four pictures with them in are fake.
From what I remember Elsie said that the last picture (the one with just fairies) was also a fake, but Francis claimed it was real. As both have died I guess it's up to us to decide who was telling the truth.
I'm quite sure that they both admitted to seeing fairies in the beck though.

No, only Frances claimed she saw real fairies. Elsie said otherwise, that Frances's memory had been jumbled after 6 decades.
