OK so obviously Troy visited Pollux in the prison and told him about the switch

But why on Earth would Pollux ever believe that the guy who looks like Archer is his brother? Heck he almost didn't believe the guy who looked like his brother was his brother.

reply

It has been ~22 years since I saw this film, but from what I recall, didn't he tell Pollux something about their childhood that only the two of them would be privy to?

reply

Well that scene was never filmed so we don’t know. I’m just saying the guy who looked like Castor he didn’t even believe at first was Castor why would he ever believe the guy who looks like Archer is his brother?

reply

Good point, perhaps another plot hole in a movie that doesn't make a lot of logistical sense but is fun nonetheless.

reply

Not a plot hole at all.
You're not making sense.

There are plenty of ways Castor-Travolta could convince Pollux.

Like you said, Pollux was suspicious about Archer-Cage even though he had Castor's face and voice. Why? Because of his behavior.

Castor-Travolta could convince him by telling him stuff which only those two knew. Besides, he was going to get Pollux released.

reply

Same way Archer convinced his wife - talk about shit only they would know about 🤷🏻‍♂️
