Travolta vs Cage

I am sure this has been addressed before, but I am new to message boards. I was just watching this movie for the 100th time (lol) and have to admit I prefer Travolta'a performance to Cage's.
Travolta in my opinion pulls off the mourning, dedicated father and good guy much better than Cage. Cage tries, but I don't buy it. Both play the sadistic baddie well,but Travolta just nails both personas perfectly.

I liked Cage better as Castor, both were pretty good at playing Archer but Cage has that classic "I'd like to take his face....off" scene.
