When Leslie lifts the Telescope.......

Ok, so there has been an arguement in my family for years about what Leslie is doing. SO you guys remember when he lifts up the telescope to look at the Indian's tribe, the he looks away with a weird look on his face?

Well, one of my brothers say it's because he remember's seeing Shakina . But my other brother and I think it's because he hit his eye. What really happened??

Wow, I actually commented on this thread seven years ago...but anyways- the OP is referring to the scene when they're all in canoes shortly before they go over the waterfall. Edwards was looking into the telescope because he noticed the Lewis and Clark expedition in the distance.

Okay, well... filibuster.
