This movie is funny and deserves a higher score.

Come on now, you all know this is a funny fu**in' movie. I think IMDB is just way too tough on comedies. The straw women, the ear experiment, the bear revenge, the bald eagle, Farley trying to read, Farley speaking the language of the Indians. It's original, its' funny, it's not some stupid cheap date movie spoof, it's just low budget. Maybe if the ufc, burger king, or american idol advertised it then it would have gotten a higher score. Sorry, the unoriginally corrupt 2000's have just gotten me very angered.

I first watched this movie when I was really young, and I couldn't stop laughing. It was a movie not a lot of people heard about, and I watched it over and over until I had the movie memorized. I owned it on VHS.

Personally, this movie is a great family movie and one of those movies you can pop in when you feel down, and get a few good laughs.

Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I have noticed on IMDB and pretty much everywhere else that comedies always score low, an 8 in really a 10. So I would take a 5.1 as a 7.1. There are a lot of stupid people in this world that give a film like Crash or Vantage point really high marks but hate on anything somewhat creative.

Then you got comedies like Some Like It Hot and The General that are rated high only because they're old and we gotta respect the classics ya know
