This film ripped off Alien Resurrection almost 90% of the time, just look at the 2 underwater scenes in both films and compare them

Who cares,Deep Rising was WAY better.Alien 4 was boring and the worst of all Alien movies.

Yes, and Virus ripped off Deep Rising, none of them are particularly original, but what matters is that Deep Rising is easily the best of those three.

Agreed,i watched it yesterday and i had a blast.Even better in 2009.

I would even go as far as saying it's better than Alien 3

much better than virus and deep blue see

Actually, Virus was written in the early 90's as a comic book. It was made into the film in 99.

How exactly is "2 underwater scenes" 90% of the film? Also for the record, the first time that particular underwater scene (in my recollection) comes to mind is in the "Poseidon Adventure" when they all have to escape the ship and are required to swim under a flooded galley... which ends with the death of one of the survivors (which also got redone to some degree in "Daylight" with Sly Stallone).

But you are right in that the swimming-get caught-detonate grenade scene was the exact same as in "Alien Res."... just wrong about the rest... sorry.
