Kirstie Alley

The scene where Kirstie Alley, playing a therapist, berates Woody for sleeping with her client while another client is waiting on the couch is a masterpiece of comic timing in my book.

I never liked "Cheers" and have no interest in "Fat Actress," but Kirstie's performance in this film proves what a great comic actress she can be.

"Please continue Mr. Farber"... "AND I MEAN TONIGHT MOTHER-[bleeper]!!!"

I laugh of this one and the "Hit me - then the blow-job"-scene every time!

That was my favorite scene in the whole movie.

That whole segment with Woody explaining the situation...was amazingly hilarious, probably one of the best parts of the movie

Absolutely! It's too bad that these days, Kirstie is known more as a personality than an actress. I wish she'd get around to making movies again rather than basing her career on her battle with her weight. Looks like she's in David O. Russell's "Nailed," which is due for release next year. I have high hopes for that:

Yes, I agree that she should get her weight to a healthy level, simply to survive and thrive. But I wish she wouldn't make such an issue of it with "Fat Actress" and the Jenny Craig commercials. Of course, you could say this is her way to turning the tables on the tabloids -- and you'd be right.

I just wish we lived in an era when a little extra poundage wasn't considered an impediment to a career. Look at Shelley Winters, a full-figured gal who gave us some tremendously memorable characters!

But back to "Deconstructing Harry," Kirstie's scene with Woody on the couch is comic gold!

It is! I wish Kirstie would make comedies again instead of being famous for her weight.
