Agree. I specially hated the explicit sex scene between Elaine Benes and Adam Quark. Not necessary, not funny, not even the quote from the blind auntie...

Vulgar character = vulgar dialog. Compromising the integrity of the story for your delicate sensibilities would be truly "vulgar". What are you, 14?

What I don't understand is why people watching Woody Allen films are worried about vulgarity. There's been plenty of rather unsavory topics discussed in many of his films; it's just that most of them don't use the Famous Seven. I don't understand why people don't have a problem with the things that go on in his movies, but they DO have a problem with the way he talks about them. In his films, Woody could "sleep with" as many women as he wanted, maybe even "have sex" with them, but he can't f any of them without someone talking about how vulgar it is.
