Where did they get the Clinton film from? It looks real. If it's CG / simulated in some way it's bloody well done!

it was real footage, digitally isolated/inserted into a different setting.. he was talking about a found meteorite believed to be from Mars.

Now that we're watching it on HDTV screens, it doesn't look as good as it used to. In the scene where Clinton is conferring with his advisors in the WH, with Ellie three seats away, it's obvious on HD screens that Clintons head was edited in over a dummy actor.

On standard definition screens and VHS video in wide use in 1995, the digital editing was impossible to see. In today's much higher resolution technology, it isn't.
