So simple, yet so profound. I think that everybody who engages themselves in a religion (i.e. spirituality) vs. science debate should see this movie at least once and really, REALLY think about it. There are things that can never be rationalized.

Being an atheist myself, I get seriously angry whenever a defender of science ridicules people of faith as delusional, basically idiotic beings who are incapable of rational thought. It doesn't make you superior or more intelligent to demand proof. It just shows incapability to accept 'human truths', as Palmer Joss calls it in the movie. The truth about faith, religion or spirituality is not tangible or measurable. Sometimes, I wonder why that is so hard to accept.

Of course, that goes for religious crackpots, too. If I don't see what you see, none of your efforts will make me see all of a sudden. Accept it.
