Aged well?

I rewatched this film again and I think if it were released today it would fair better. I think it would critically fare better. It has 54% on RT, but today it may score 70%. Movies like this at the time were considered dumb, but by today's standard it might feel more fresh. Little use of CGI, a really good cast of characters, a fun and entertaining film.

I think Comic book movies have forced critics to rethink action and adventure films and these days action films dont have the intensty. Everything is shaky cam and the narratives are just boring.

Say what you will, this film is rewatchable and fun. It's paced well, and I feel this is better than crap action films like Fast and Furious or the Expendables.
