Why did the landlord say Fai moved?? And....

A few scenes after Fai gives back the watch to Po, we see Fai's landlord answer the phone and say that 'Fai moved a long time ago.' But it appears that Fai stays at the same flat from the time he broke up with Po up until he really does leave back to HK near the end of the movie. So why does the landlord say this?? Am I missing something??

Also, how did Po know where Fai lived when he went there after he got beaten up?? Earlier, when Fai went to get the watch to return it to Po, he made Po wait in the front of some cantina so he wouldn't see where he lived. So how did he find out??

Fai did move out of the apartment to see the "Falls". The one shown in the apartment is Po who takes up his place (why, i'm not sure).

So much to see, so little time!

at some point in the movie the janitor says "fai just went out" i think he was asked by fai to say that because he do not wanted to talk with ho-po, the same happens in the last part when he says "fai moved a long time ago".

Yes, we are given an explicit view of Fai sitting in his apartment immediately after the landlord said on the phone that he had moved. Apparently the landlord was actively helping to ward off Po... even telling "white lies" to get Po to hang up.

If a detailed explanation was ever presented, I certainly never saw it. This isn't the only time Po seems to have magical powers though - at an earlier point he telephones Fai's house and Fai immediately says on the telephone "how did you get this number?" In each case we see the bottom line, but the exact "how" remains something of a mystery. Perhaps "magical powers" is just one more addition to Po's playboy aura.
