I would imagine Kevin Smith intentionally left it open for us to decide, so I'm curious as to which of you thought Alyssa and Holden ended up together and which think they didn't.

I think they do end up together. Alyssa is clearly emotional when he comes over to see her, indicating the feelings are still there. While Holden seems to have gotten passed her past and grown up a bit, as indicated by the comic book ode to her and the apology in the end. He wants her to call him and I would assume she does....

Thoughts?

Holden is sitting in front of the TV, while Will Ferrell's character is talking about a group called the C.L.I.T., and says to himself "Nights like this... I miss dating a lesbian."

So the answer is...no Alyssa and Holden did not get back together.

I would love it if they got together but my gut tells me that they didn't, that too much took place and Alyssa, more than Holden, just can't get past it.

Either way it's a fantastic movie, IMO.

I watched it last night for the first time in a year or so. The 90s clothing really brings me back to a fun period of my life.

I think I'm a little older than you 😃. At any age, though, wake n bake was never my way of life. In fact, I just had to look up the meaning as I had never heard of it (not that I remember anyway).

I don't think so. I think Holden has grown up and worked out what he wants. Alyssa is still a moody emo chick and won't lower herself by approaching him either.

Nah they don’t end up together, they were on different paths. Jay & Silent Bob Reboot gives an update on their situation though...
