"Duel" meets "The Vanishing"
And the meeting goes very well. I was surprised by how engaging this was. Even though it's pretty obvious how it will end, the trip to the ending is fun.
shareAnd the acting is pure genius. J.T. Walsh is impressively evil. Kurt Russell is cast against type to great effect. As the damsel in distress, Kathleen Quinlan is serviceable. Add that to the amazing stunts at the end. You got yourself a bona fide winner. Can't go wrong.
