I saw this movie for the first time in 2000 or so.....My Favorite movie of all time. Being the oldest in my home, it just seemed so realistic and true to life.....Fantastic movie!!!!!!! oops yea and I am not pantsman, he is my youngest son...... Delee

I'm up early & this is on cable...I agree with your post, except I liked 'The Town' then 'Departed'. For me, a minority from the Midwest, I had to see 'The Town' twice when it first came out, to understand the dialogue that I missed (I've watched this movie repeatedly since then just because it's a good flick). watching Southie, just seems like I'm watching a 2nd rate Mark Wahlberg film....the 'good' son that's pulled in several directions by family & friends, when all he wants is happiness....blah, blah, blah.
