What do you think about this?

I asked a question on Yahoo Answers 7 months ago about alternate versions of films. What do you think about this man's idea? I like it, but what about you?

Question: Am I the only one who does this?
Have you ever looked at a film, wished YOU were a part of it, wished the storyline went differently and thought about what you would do differently? I do that a lot.

What film have you seen that made you wish the storyline happened differently and what would you do differently?

Answer: I think about this too! There are movies I have seen where the plot seemed stupid or one or more characters seemed stupid, and I go, "They should have let me be in the film".

Let me give you an example. I have seen "Booty Call", and I was appalled at the buffoonery in this film. Anyone who has seen it know what I'm talking about. Two beautiful, sexy black women, Nikki and Lysterine, go on a double date with two guys, Rushon and Bunz. Rushon had been dating his girlfriend Nikki for several weeks. They really liked each other, but their relationship had thus far been purely platonic; Nikki was not so sure if their relationship was ready for the next stage.

Rushon asked Nikki out to dinner one night, but Nikki wanted it to be a double date. She brought her friend Lysterine and Rushon brought his friend Bunz. Lysterine and Bunz hit it off very quickly, and to Rushon's surprise, Nikki decided it was time for their relationship to move to the next level.


These two men, especially Bunz were in such a hurry to get some pu...I mean sex, that they did not make any preparations. Bunz was not exactly very charming or smart. Each of the men, after the double date, had gone with the women to the women's place of residence for a night of passion.

Well, the night was very adventurous. Now, if you know you want to sexually active, should you not be armed with protection? Should you not already have condoms? The best kind?

First, the men didn't have condoms, so they had to rush to the store to get some. They pick up cheap, inferior, condoms and have to rush back to the store to get better condoms.

Then, Nikki and Rushon decide that, um...it would be nice if, um...he um...pleases her orally. To do this, they must use protection anyway, so they had to use plastic. There was no plastic(I can't believe neither Lysterine nor Nikki had any plastic wrap) so again, they have to rush to the store. Well this is the part where I felt like cursing out the two men. They each put the plastic around they faces, and almost suffocate! Anyone who hasn't seen the movie should take a look to see the stupidity that transpired with these two men.

Another thing the men did wrong was bet on the two women. That was tacky and disrespectful. In fact, I'm not even sure that I want to sleep with a girl on the very first night anyway.


Now if it were me, this would have been a different movie. I would want to have a smart friend. My character would be extremely good looking, flawless in fact, paid, well accomplished, well educated, well endowed with perfect sexual, oral and wining skills, but commitment issues. I would rather to take my date to my place of residence, where everything would be in perfect order, because I would have already bought two boxes of the best condoms ever, and not be running around like these two clowns Rushon and Bunz. There would be no damn dog, and nothing or no one two stop me and my date.

My friend would also fare very well, because he, too, is very intelligent, successful and fine, and a perfect lover.

With this, nothing could go wrong, right? Well here is where it would get interesting. After sharing a perfect night with our respective dates, my friend and his girlfriend would go on to have a great relationship. I on the other hand would ditch my date. This would be hard for her after such perfect sex, and this would turn into a comedic, less harsh version of "Fatal Attraction". The rest of the movie would consist of her trying to get more sex from me. She would be hooked, and do crazy things out of anger and frustration from being sexed up so great, then abandoned. I would have to try to keep dodging her, but to no avail. She would hurt me, but not too badly, but everything would work out well, and we would end up having a real relationship.
